Ahmed recently concluded his tenure as Board Chair, having served in that role since 2021, a period which the Commissioners described as pivotal to the board’s strategic planning efforts.
To celebrate his contributions, Executive Director Andy Volenik and now-Chair Bruce Luecke presented him with a cricket bat signed by the transit agency’s staff and a plaque recognizing his leadership, teamwork and vision.
