Payment Methods

  • Pay monthly under the terms of an escrow agreement

  • Pay by Visa Debit Tax Program
    For a flat fee of $3.95, you may pay your real estate taxes using your Visa Debit Card by selecting the Visa Debit for Tax option under the Payment Information pull down menu when you select your payment method.
  • ***Important Notice***. You will only be able to use this popular option if your bank or financial institution has authorized a purchase limit which equals or exceeds the amount of the tax payment you are making. If you are unaware of the amount of your limit, you may check with your bank or financial institution to ensure your limit is adequate. A Visa Debit for Tax transaction will not be processed if you limit is inadequate for the payment you are attempting to make. Please contact your bank or financial institution if you have any questions in this regard.

  • ***Special Notice***  Please notice that once the property is identified, the amount shown due for taxes is for the full tax year.  If you want to pay the 1st half only or any other amount, please “edit” the amount.  To “edit” please follow these steps.   (1)  Identify and select the property.  (2)  Add the selected property to your cart by selecting “Add to Cart”.  (3)  Select “Continue”.  (4) Select “Edit” and enter the amount you wish to pay.  If you have any questions please call us in Delaware at 740.833.2480.

  • Pay by credit/debit card
    The Treasurer accepts payment by this method through a credit/debit card processing company, Point & Pay.  Point & Pay charges a 2.5% convenience fee for utilizing their credit/debit card processing services.  This fee is not collected by Delaware County.

  • Pay by Echeck
    For a flat fee of $2.50 (up to $10,000) or for a flat fee of $10.00 (over $10,000) you may send us an electronic real estate tax payment by charging your personal bank account.

  • Contract-ACH-Automatic Deduction
  • If you are currently making payments to this office under the provisions of an Agreement To Pay Delinquent Tax In Installments, you may make the payments by authorizing and directing this office to deduct the payments from your checking or savings account.  One of the following forms must be completed and submitted to this office to begin making payments by this method. 

  • Monthly Contract ACH Form
  • Semi-Annual ACH Form

  • Home Banking at Your Bank
  • If you utilize the online bill payment and home banking capabilities of your bank, you may pay your real estate taxes using this method. Please make sure to list the parcel number from your tax bill as the account number or in a memorandum field. This will ensure a proper credit to your parcel when the payment is processed.

  • Pay at our drop box

    The drop box is located in the lower parking lot of the Hayes Administration Building which is located at 140 North Sandusky Street.  The parking lot may be accessed from the East off of Union Street or from the West off of Sandusky Street.
