Sawmill Parkway Extension to Hyatts Road (DEL-CR609-4.84)

Status: Under Construction

Project Description:

Construction of 0.53 miles of new four-lane divided parkway from the existing terminus located one-mile north of Home Road to connect to Hyatts Road.  A modern roundabout will be built at Hyatts Road.

Road Closure Information:
Hyatts Road closed for up to 45 days during construction of the roundabout with a posted detour.  Traffic will be maintained throughout the remainder of the project.

Schedule:  

Design: 2005-06

Right of Way Acquisition:  2007-08

Construction September 2008 to August 2009

Construction plans prepared by Burgess & Niple, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio.

Construction Information:

Trucco Construction of Delaware, Ohio was awarded the contract for $2,913,266.80.

 
Estimated Project Phase Cost:
$4.25 million.
