PROJECT INFORMATION
Ross Road Bridge Replacement (Trenton Township TR-29-6.53)
Project Description:
Replacement of a narrow, concrete slab bridge in poor structural
condition. Project includes removal of existing bridge, and installing a
16’ x 5’ precast, reinforced concrete box culvert. Approach improvements
including pavement and shoulder widening, drainage improvements, and
guardrail installation complete the project.
Project Location and Limits:
Ross Road about ½ mile south of Dent Road. Total project
length is about 400 feet.
Road Closure Information:
Road closed to through traffic with detour posted. Local resident
traffic maintained.
Project Schedule:
Design engineering: 2004-2005
Right-of-way acquisition: Fall 2006
Utility relocation: Fall 2006
Construction: November 2006 to January 2007

Design
Department.
Construction Information:
Project built by the Delaware County Highway Department.
