PROJECT INFORMATION
River Road over Utz Run Bridge Replacement (Radnor Township
TR-187-4.49)
Project Description:
Replacement of a narrow concrete
slab bridge with a precast reinforced concrete box culvert.
Roadway improvements include widening approximately 400
feet of pavement and shoulders.
Project Location and Limits:
River Road 1/4 mile north of Radnor Road. Project limits are
approximately 200 feet north and south of the bridge.
Road Closure Information:
River Road closed to through traffic between Radnor Road and Watkins
Road, with detour posted. Local traffic maintained to adjacent properties.
Project Schedule:
Design engineering: 2006
Right-of-way acquisition: June to November 2007
Utility relocation: December 2007 to February 2008
Construction: March to May 2008

Design
Department.
Construction Information:
Project built by the Delaware County Engineer's
Highway Department.
