Larcomb Road Bridge over Dun's Run Bridge
Replacement (Scioto Township)
Project Description:
Replacement of a narrow concrete beam bridge that is in very poor
structural condition. Project includes removal of existing bridge, and
erecting a new prestressed concrete box beam bridge with additional
improvements to the roadway approaches including pavement and shoulder
widening and guardrail installation.
Project Location and Limits:
Larcomb Road about 1/4 mile west of Stover Road.
Road Closure Information:
Road closed to through traffic with detour posted. Local resident
traffic maintained.
Project Schedule:
Design engineering: October 2005 to May 2006
Right-of-way acquisition: November 2006 to March 2007
Utility relocation: April to May 2007
Construction: June to November 2007

Construction documents prepared by R.D. Zande of Columbus, Ohio.
Construction Information:
Crawford Construction Company of Galion, Ohio. Total contract
amount $507,441.98.
