Justamere Road over Culver Creek Bridge Replacement (Porter Township
TR-60-0.92)
Project Description:
Replacement of a narrow steel beam bridge in poor structural
condition. Project includes removal of existing bridge, and installing a
14’ x 7’ precast reinforced concrete box culvert. Approach
improvements including pavement and shoulder widening, drainage
improvements, and guardrail installation.
Project Location and Limits:
Justamere Road about 1/4 mile east of Lane Road. Total project length is
about 400 feet.
Road Closure Information:
Road closed to through traffic with detour posted. Local resident
traffic maintained.
Project Schedule:
Design engineering: August 2005 to December 2006
Right-of-way acquisition: February to April 2007
Utility relocation: March to April 2007
Construction: March to June 2007

Construction documents prepared by Delaware County Engineer’s
Design
Department.
Construction Information:
Project constructed by Delaware County Highway Department. Precast
concrete box culvert by United Precast,
Inc. of Mount Vernon, Ohio. Guardrail by Paul Peterson Company of
Columbus, Ohio.
