The Delaware County Engineer, in cooperation with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), Franklin County Engineer, and the cities of Dublin, Gahanna and Hilliard have produced a short educational video on modern roundabouts. The video, Roundabouts: Keep In The Loop, includes information on how to correctly drive a modern roundabout and reasons why roundabouts are safer and more efficient than traffic signals for many intersections.

NEWS HEADLINES 05-01-2012: Posted Weight Limits Lifted: Due to the unseasonably warm weather this winter and spring, the 40 percent weight restrictions on certain township roads have been lifted effective May 1. Ohio law allows that the weight limit on certain roads can be reduced to prevent damage to roads during times of the spring thaw when roads are most susceptible to damage from heavy loads.
04-19-2012: Plumb Road Now Open: Plumb Road opened to traffic this afternoon. The project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule and under budget.
04-12-2012: Concord Road North of Home Rd to Close April 18 to August 17: Concord Road will close north of Home Road beginning on Wednesday, April 18 and last through the end of construction on the project. Work on this section of road will include constructing the north approach to the new roundabout and replacing an existing multi-cell culvert bridge.
The next phase of the project is expected to start in May and includes a closure of the entire intersection lasting through August 17 when the project is scheduled to be completed.
03-29-2012: Concord Road South of Home Rd to Close April 2 to August 17: Concord Road will be closed south of Home Road beginning on Monday, April 2. The closure will last for about 4-1/2 months as crews begin the first phase of a project to construct a single lane roundabout at the intersection of Home and Concord Roads, and replace two existing bridges.
The next phase of the project will include a closure of Concord Road north of Home Road. This will be done after completion of the road base construction on the south leg of the intersection. More information will be provided when the dates of that closure are available.
The project is scheduled for completion on August 17.
03-28-2012: Trenton Road Closed April 2 for 7 Weeks for Bridge Replacement: Trenton Road will close west of SR 605 for 7 weeks while crews replace a bridge. The posted detour route uses Miller-Paul Road to Woodtown Road to SR 605 or the reverse.
03-05-2012: Plumb Road Closed for 60 days: Plumb Road will be closed March 5 for 60 days for replacement of an 11-ton posted bridge just west of I-71. The posted detour uses 3B's&K Road to Dustin Road to Rome Corners, and the reverse.
03-02-2012: Dustin Road Closed East of SR 3 for 30 days: Dustin Road will be closed east of SR 3 for 30 days for replacement of a culvert.
