Standards

The Development Department is responsible for updating the Design, Construction and Surveying Standards for the County Engineer.  The Department also is responsible for updating the Standard Drawings.  Following is a list of recent updates.

June 30, 2010 Update:

Please note that there have been updates to the Supplemental Specifications of the Design, Construction and Surveying Standards.  The updated Supplemental Specifications can be found at:  http://www.co.delaware.oh.us/engineer/Review/Standards.htm    In addition, some of the Standard Drawings have been updated.

The review fee schedule form has been updated and can be found on the Design Resource Page under the section labeled "Privately Funded Developed Projects" located  at:

http://www.co.delaware.oh.us/engineer/drp.htm

The updated copies of the Supplemental Specifications can be downloaded from the website or if a hardcopy of the updated Supplemental Specifications is preferred, please contact our office at 740-833-2401 to request a copy.  Anyone wishing to obtain a hard copy would be responsible for the cost of printing the manual at a price to be determined once we have determined how many copies will be needed.  Please note that all projects submitted after July 6, 2010 shall incorporate the updated standards.

May 5, 2009 Update:

As part of our goal to streamline and create a more efficient plan review process, the Development Review Department now has Standard Coversheets and General Notes Sheets now available for insertion into project plans.   Please click on the pull down arrow at the above right to find information on your type of project.

May 1, 2009 Fee Schedule Update:

The new updated fee schedule form must be submitted for all projects sent to this office for review beginning May 1, 2009.  Any project submitted after that date that uses the outdated fee schedule will be returned to the design consultant/owner.  For the new fee schedule, click here.

Delaware County Engineer's Design, Construction and Surveying Standards Manual

The Delaware County Commissioners on January 22, 2008 adopted updated text of the Delaware County Engineer's Design, Construction and Surveying Standards Manual.  These Standards took effect beginning January 30, 2008.
