Katie Stenman
Court Administrator

Katie began her service as Court Administrator for the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, Ohio, Probate/Juvenile Division in 2015.  She comes to the position from her previous employment as Chief of Staff for the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.  Prior to her employment with the Commission, Katie served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Stephen R. Shaw at the Third District Court of Appeals in Lima, Ohio.  She holds a law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.  Katie received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

In her free time, Katie volunteers with CHA Animal Shelter in Columbus.  She resides in Delaware County with her husband, son, and menagerie of pets.

 

Lisa Williamson
Intake/Diversion Department Head

Lisa Williamson, Intake/Diversion Department Head for the Delaware County Juvenile Court. Lisa has been employed with the Delaware County Juvenile Court since 1994 and has been in her current position since May 2003.

Lisa was born and raised in Central Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1993 with a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Child and Family Development.

During her tenure, Lisa served as Secretary, for two years, and President, for four years, of the Ohio Juvenile Diversion Association. Lisa has also served as the Judge's representative on the board of the Perry Multi-County Juvenile Facility since 2003 and is the current board secretary.

 

Kara Moore
Juvenile Court Chief Probation Officer

 In October 2016, Kara joined the Delaware County Juvenile court as the Chief Probation Officer. Prior to joining the team at the Delaware County Juvenile Court, Kara worked for Delaware County Adult Court Services. Throughout the years at Adult Court Services she held multiple positions from Deputy Chief Probation Officer, Intensive Supervision Officer to Senior Probation Officer.  Kara’s primary duties involved the supervision of adult felony offenders who were of high risk to recidivate.  The goal was to challenge anti-social thoughts and behavior patterns and hold the offender accountable to reduce the risk of recidivism while living in the community.  As a supervisor she was challenged and honored to serve as a point of contact for staffing cases with other Officers and assisting the Chief and Deputy Chief with administrative duties as assigned.  In 1996 Kara graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Police Administration and also studied music. 


Renee Lovelien
Department Head of Clerical Services

Renee Lovelien is presently the Department Head of Clerical Services but has served the Court in many capacities since 2005.  She has worked as a deputy clerk and typist in the Juvenile/Probate Divisions and as the Victim Services Coordinator before taking her role as Department Head in 2008.

The Juvenile Clerical Services support staff serves all Juvenile Departments and Programs by handling a plethora of duties such as submission of paper filings, intake and maintenance of cases files, preservation of legal records, legal research, typing and customer service.  The Juvenile Clerical Services support staff are known for their experience and professionalism.

Our Mission:  The Delaware County Juvenile Clerk’s Office efficiently performs the administrative function of the Court as determined by Ohio law and Court rules.  Our responsibility is to maintain accurate and complete records of all court proceedings and to work together in assisting those we serve in a dignified and respectful manner.

Karen Wadkins
Fiscal Department Head

Karen Wadkins is the Fiscal Coordinator of the Delaware County Probate/Juvenile Court. Prior to joining the Court in 2015, she worked as the Business and Operations Manager for the Department of Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University for more than 7 years. Prior to working at Ohio State, Karen worked in commercial and residential real estate as the Assistant to the Controller for a management company located in Columbus, Ohio. Karen graduated from Ohio Dominican University in 2008 with her undergraduate degree in Business Management.

She resides in Delaware County with her husband and two children.

  

Teresa Tackett
Judicial Services Manager/ Probate Court Investigator 

Teresa is the Judicial Assistant/Bailiff for the Honorable David A. Hejmanowski at the Delaware County Probate/Juvenile Court.  Teresa has been with the Delaware County Probate/Juvenile Court for fifteen years. 

Teresa completed her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The Ohio State University in May 2013.   As part of her educational requirements Teresa was required to complete a year-long field placement and was fortunate to be able to complete her internship at the Delaware County Probate/Juvenile Court on her personal time and in addition to her other court duties. 

Through her work as an intern, Teresa was able to assist in the development and implementation of the Court Visitors Program, a guardianship monitoring program.  Teresa also assisted Magistrate R. Lamont Kaiser in the creation of a Guardianship Training now required by Local Rules for all new Guardians appointed by the Court.
