John M. Eufinger is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University (BA ’68) and the Ohio State University (JD cum laude ’72). After law school, he served as an Ohio Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Law Section and was then in private practice in Marysville, Ohio for 33 years. Most recently, he served as the Chief Legal Counsel for the Ohio School Facilities Commission before accepting appointment as a Magistrate in the Juvenile Court in February of 2011. In his career, Magistrate Eufinger has served as a Marysville City Prosecutor and as Village Solicitor for Milford Center, Ohio. He has been a Scoutmaster for over 30 years and is a legal advisor to the Marysville High School Mock Trial Program. He served ten years in the US Army Reserve MP Corps. Magistrate Eufinger has been married to Judge Charlotte Coleman Eufinger (Union County Probate and Juvenile Judge) since 1971. They have two children and one grandchild.
