Stephen A. Schissel, M.D. Biography -

Dr. Schissel has been serving the citizens of Delaware County in the capacity of Deputy Coroner since 2007.

Dr. Schissel graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Autonomous University of Guadalajara in 1985, and completed his residency in 1989 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Utica, New York.

Dr. Schissel has been in private practice in Delaware, Ohio since 1995, and is currently the Medical Director of the Delaware County General Health District.  He is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and belongs to the American Medical Association and The American Academy of Family Physicians.
