Collection

The Delaware County CSEA is required to collect and disburse support payments as ordered through the Delaware County Court system. As a Federal mandate, all of Ohio's support payments are remitted to a central location. Payments should be made in the form of a check or money order and remitted as follows:

Ohio Child Support Payment Central
P.O. Box 182394
Columbus, Ohio 43218

Please note the following regarding support payments.

· The payor's name, social security number, case number and order number must be included with the payment to assure proper credit.
· Cash payments can still be made in person at the Delaware County CSEA. Please do not send cash in the mail.
· All payments made directly to the payee (recipient of support) are considered a gift and will not be counted as child/spousal support.
· If you are currently receiving cash assistance (OWF) through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, your child/spousal support is assigned to the State of Ohio. You are not entitled to receive support payments while you are receiving OWF benefits. Once OWF benefits are terminated, current child/spousal support payments will be directed to you.
·

The DCCSEA will no longer give out payment information.

To check on a payment, you must call the State Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) at 800-860-2555.  If you live in Franklin County, you can call 614-728-7900, or TDD at 800-869-0019

If it is your first time calling in, you should be prompted to set a PIN number to access your child support account(s).  If you are not prompted, you will need to set your PIN through mail.  Customers need to send their written requests  to: Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Office of Child Support, PIN Reset Center, 30 East Broad Street,  Columbus, OH 43215-5903.

PIN RESETS

IVR PIN resets cannot be accomplished through a telephone contact to the State or your county CSEA.  To ensure confidentiality and security,  PIN resets can only be completed through a faxed or mailed written request.   Customers need to send their written requests to: Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Office of Child Support, PIN Reset Center, 30 East Broad Street,  Columbus, OH 43215-5903. Customers may also choose to send a FAX to: Office of Child Support, PIN Reset Center, FAX NUMBER 614-995-7159 or 614-728-5070 .  The request must be signed, dated and accompanied by a copy of both a photo ID and official documentation of the requester's social security number. A copy of drivers license can be used if it contains both items. PIN resets will occur within two business days, and the reset will be noted in running records comments by CICC staff when it has been completed.

Do not fax or mail your requests directly to the County CSEA.

· Once a payment has been received and processed, you must allow 10 days for the mailed payment to be delivered to you. The Agency will not stop payment on a lost/missing check until that 10-day period has passed. If the 10-day period has passed you may contact the Agency's fiscal department through the Home Page.
